General presentation

As of January 2011, the Air Europa fleet operated 7 Airbus A 330-200, with no additional ones expected to arrive in the near future.
With a length of almost 59 m (193.6 ft) and a wingspan of about 60 m (197 ft), the Airbus A330-200 is capable of a cruising speed of 871 km/h/537 mph at 11,000 m/36,000 ft. Its maximum range is 13,430 km/8,340 mi, its service ceiling 12,527 m/41,100 ft, and maximum speed 913 km/h/563 mph at 11,000 m/36,000 ft.
The passengers can read both the national (Spanish) and international press. They will also be able to enjoy music channels or watch feature films if making an intercontinental flight. The company offers excellent meals with Spanish flavors and some of the best Spanish wines. You have to pay for headphones or bring your own. Duty free products can be bought.

O desenho desta aeronave não está atualizado. A fila 40 na verdade é a saída de emergência, assim que tem bastante espaço para as pernas.
Como viajávamos com um bebê e reservamos um berço eles não cobraram a reserva para estes assentos.
O voo é normal, não ví muita diferença entre este e o da Iberia. Sem comparação porém com os voos da TAM e especialmente com SingapureAirline que é praticamente de luxo perto destes, uma pena que só vai pra Barcelona e não para Madrid.
O voo de ida era noturno e não tinha entretenimento individual, entretanto o de volta era no meio do dia e sim que havia. A comida ruinzinha e os comissários simpáticos.
O maior ponto negativo para esse voo é que, apesar de ser um avião grande, na viagem sao paulo-madrid, aterrisa no meio da pista, então de noite em pleno frio tem que descer do aviao, pegar um onibus pra levar até o terminal, e como a gente entra no terminal na área de bagagens tem que passar outra vez pelo controle de segurança (detector de metais) e esperar outro ónibus pra levar para o outro terminal de conexão (íamos de alí para Alicante), e para embarcar na conexão pegar outro onibus de novo (e neste não tinha elevador e tivemos que descer as malas, carrinho de bebe e bebe carregando tudo) para embarcar no próximo avião. Para quem viaja com muitas malas ou com criancas e bebes é uma dificuldade. Só essa razão me fez decidir que não viajo mais esse trajeto com essa companhia.

This is the only non stop flight between SJ and Madrdi. That said, the plane on this flight was the most uncomfortable I have flown to Spain. I prefer window seats to try to sleep resting against the window but on thie window seats on this plane have a box on the foor for the individual TVs that takes up half your space for the feet. The pitch is tooooo small and if the person in front reclines they are literally in your ñap. To eat I had to ask them to please put up their seat. tV entertainment was very limited and person next to me was unable to use hers as it was defective. Service was only ok.
The only tip I can offer is be prepared to be very uncomfortable for a long flight. I dont think there is a good seat on this plane.

Vuelo correcto atención por parte del personal muy amable.
La compañía cuenta con varios aviones a330 200 /300 (creo que 15 ) entre ellos algunos (creo que 2 o 3 son un poco mas antiguos ) y no cuentan con tv en cada asiento
el mapa que aparece aquí no coincide con el avión que comento ,este por lo menos hace ruta MVD MAD (me ha tocado 2 veces de 8 )
La conformación de asientos comienza la clase turista desde la fila 15 hasta la fila 48 donde se estrecha el avión y pasa de 4 asientos en fila central a tener 3 asientos hasta la fila 53 en adjunto una foto del mapa
PD: llevar cascos ,te los cobras 3 euros!

Me pareció una malísima experiencia para no repetir 10 horas en un avión sin televisión ,el wifi solo va si te lo explican antes de subir al avión cosa que no hacen ......claro adivinar como que es complicado ,en la publicidad dicen de las flotas más modernas pero en este caso no lo es ........la atención del personal muy correcta con recursos muy limitados ,horario cumplido y aterrizaje perfecto ,,,otra cosa la comida una vergüenza comi mejor en un viaje en autobús que hizo la semana anterior supra mas de alsa ,como digo un engaño e intentado cambiar el tikete de regreso para otra compañía pero no va a ser posible por los precios del momento ,así que me tocara regresar de nuevo lo que si tengo claro es que nunca vuelvo a volar con esta compañía me siento estafadooooooo.

El vuelo fue bueno con horarios cumplidos al minuto. El catering pobre tirando a muy pobre. Lo peor del viaje, con diferencia, el espacio entre los asientos: mido 1,65 metros y mis rodillas tocaban con el asiento de delante. Infernal se ponia cuando el usuario del 22G reclinaba su asiento, momento en que no solo se hacia dificil el descanso, sino imposible visualizar en el monitor individual una pelicula ya que la pantalla estaba a nenos de un palmo de mi cara. Tal era la situacion que la azafata al ver la situacion que se creaba durante el reparto de las bsndejas, pidio al usuario de delante que pusiese el adiento en posicion vertical.

Sat on 41D and fortunately I had the 3 seats for myself. However, be warned, the pitch starting on row 40 CDF is smaller than the rest of the plane. Those seats are extremely tight so try to avoid them. Row 40 CDF are definitely the worst seats bc they have no tray table in front (obviously they are misaligned) with the row in front and the seats have the tables inside the armrest making the width of the seat even smaller than what it already is.

Its nice when a flight its not overly booked but I think everybody had already experienced this flight as they were all looking desperate to get at least two empty seats to get that extra comfort. Cant say too much, economy will always be economy. Leg room, food... I was surprised to have a full entertainment system installed for my own but... did not work. I hope the pilots screens are better than the one I had. Service was excellent, three languages spoken, attention to detail.
Wish I could go back in Business class ;)

the outlay here is wrong, Air Europa flies to Cancun in an all economy class configuration, so the review for 7A is the seat 13A (has an extra fee), the 13A&H are good but have bit less legroom than 13B&G due to the exit door mechanisms, the seats 13 C-F (row 7 in your picture) have bit more space than regular economy but also pretty scarce. The co shows only 2 movies in an 11 hour flight and you have to pay for the headphones...uff

I loved the leg room, however one of the most important things why I always choose AIR EUROPA is due to the fact of my TV whih makes long flights (9hrs aprox) more confortable.
BOTH SEATS WHERE OUT OF SERVICE! 30H and 30G were "reset" 3 times and I had a blank TV for 9 hours making the flight not what I had hopped for.

El avión fue un 330-200 matriculado EC-JQQ del 2006. Pantallas personales en cada asiento con contenido diverso y películas recientes bajo demanda aparte de juegos y musica. El servicio decente, la comida poca aunque de buen sabor y solo 2 opciones pollo o pasta, los asientos estrechos y apretados, puntualidad excelente normal en air Europa. Desde el asiento 10A hay buena visilidad al exterior.
