Transaero changed equipment so we flew on a much smaller (and older) 777-200 (built in 1990's). Each row in the rear economy section had 2 seats-aisle-5 seats-aisle-2 seats. My wife had 33A with nice view behind the wings. PROS: 1)departed on time, 2) easy on-line check-in 30 hours before flight 3) incredible pricing which we booked 3.5 months in advance, 4) decent and comfortable seats with fold-forward sides on headrest. CONS: 1) limited leg room with permanent metal box under the seats in front of us (32A&B)- so difficult to stretch out. 2) Cold air waiting for take-off requiring blanket (provided) then warm air later that left us sweating about 4 hours later. 3) the two diabetic meals (both the same) included dry chicken breast w/rice and over-cooked broccoli with small salad and whole apple. 4) flight attendants spoke little English and were curt with instructions to return to your seat - ALL IN ALL considering the price, these discomforts were worth it. Our JFK flight on JetBlue was 1.5 hours late departing.

Seats were true to the map displayed here. The plane was a bit old (perhaps from the 90s) but seats were very comfortable and there was enough legroom and good recline. Service was good and the crew were helpful and attentive. Some of these planes have wi-fi on board which is great.
