What is Aeroflot’s policy regarding carry-on baggage?
Passengers are allowed to take into cabin one piece of carry-on baggage and, in addition, some personal articles. The passenger is responsible for his/her hand luggage.
What is Aeroflot’s policy regarding checked baggage?
Aeroflot applies a simplified system for free baggage allowance on the basis of the Piece Concept on all its routes. The piece concept differs according to your travel class and/or type of applied fare. Free baggage allowances for checked baggage are valid for the whole itinerary, both directions, from the check-in point to the first stopover of more than 24 hours or to the final destination (to/from any point in the U.S., from the check-in point, regardless of the stopover, to the final destination).
Carry-on Baggage
Passengers’ carry-on allowance on Aeroflot flights depends on their travel class:
Travel Class | Number of Pieces | Maximum Weight | Maximum Dimensions | Personal Item |
Business Class | 1 piece | 15 kg | Length – 55 cm Width – 40 cm Height – 25 cm | ♦ A rucksack, handbag or briefcase (up to 5 kg and 80 cm linear dimensions) ♦ Outerwear, a suit bag ♦ Baby food, a child carrier device when traveling with a child ♦ Medicine and special dietary items required during the flight ♦ Crutches, folding wheelchairs used by passengers with disabilities ♦ Duty-free goods in a sealed plastic bag |

Advance payment for excess baggage is available online until check-in closes and in Aeroflot sales offices or through Aeroflot Contact Centre up to 24 hours before departure. A maximum of 4 pieces of checked baggage (including the free baggage allowance) per passenger can be paid in advance.
