Travel Information
Aeromexico offers you the tools to stay informed on the destinations it offers, travel requirements, and documents required by the destination country. You can find out where you can travel and how to prepare for your trip using its interactive map.
In addition, Aeromexico continues to work with other companies to offer you greater peace of mind by signing agreements with medical laboratories to give you preferential costs and delivery times for your COVID-19 test.
Additional Safety Measures
In February 2021, Aeromexico was awarded the platinum level for health measures after the APEX Health Safety audit powered by SimpliFlying. As a Platinum-certified health safety airline, Aeromexico became the highest-rated airline in Latin America.
With your safety as its top priority, Aeromexico implemented strict sanitization protocols so that you can fly confidently:
- At the airport, hygiene measures have been implemented so that the check-in area and security checkpoints are safe and clean. All facilities, furniture, counters, and kiosks are constantly cleaned and sanitized. To avoid personal contact, you may use the self-check-in kiosks at the airport. Also, when boarding, you can scan your own documents.
- The aircraft are sanitized between each flight and are equipped with HEPA filters which eliminate up to 99.99% of microparticles such as viruses and bacteria. The air circulates downwards, minimizing the risk of infection.
- For everyone’s safety, wearing a face mask is mandatory at the airport and throughout the journey. You may remove the face mask for a short period to eat and drink. All crew members wear face masks and gloves.
Flexible Travel
For tickets purchased from January 11, 2021, onwards, all fares, except the Basic Fare, include one free change of your flight.
If you need more flexibility, you can choose one of the new Classic Flex, AM Plus Flex, and Premier Flex fares that offer unlimited changes (date, time, destination) and reimbursement as an electronic voucher (EMD) or through your original method of payment.
