Are children allowed to travel alone on Izhavia flights?
Children aged 5 to 16 years may travel alone (without their parents and not entrusted to one of the passengers) as Unaccompanied Minors, under the supervision of Izhavia (employees of Izhavia provide constant supervision of the child until arrival at the destination when the child is handed over to the designated person). The Unaccompanied Minor service is mandatory for children aged 5 to 11 years (inclusive), and optional, upon request from parents or guardians, for children aged 12 to 15 years (inclusive).
How can I book an Izhavia flight when my child is traveling alone?
Booking a flight for an Unaccompanied Minor can only be done through the Ticket Offices. Booking a flight online is not available for Unaccompanied Minors. The carriage of an Unaccompanied Minor will be charged at full fare. Acceptance of Unaccompanied Minors is permitted only with a confirmed flight reservation and only after the parents (relatives, guardians) provide all the required documents.
