Measures to Keep You Safe

Air North, Yukon’s Airline is dedicated to ensuring your travel experience is as safe and comfortable as possible:

  • Check-in and boarding:
    • For physical distancing, markers have been placed on the floor at the airport terminal to indicate the required spacing.
    • To limit contact between passengers and agents, plexiglass barriers are in place at most airports, and passengers are asked to hold up their ID and boarding card for verification and scanning, rather than passing it to the agent, and to place their luggage on the scale and attach the bag tag.
    • For the safety of everyone, all frequently touched areas are cleaned and sanitized after each flight.
  • Onboard:
    • The Boeing 737 jets are equipped with HEPA air filters, capable of capturing over 99% of microbes and bacteria in the air.
    • High-touch surfaces, including seats, armrests, seatbelts, tray tables, cabin windows, overhead bins, galleys, and lavatories, are cleaned regularly.
    • Passengers are encouraged to wear protective face coverings.
