Are children allowed to travel alone on Corendon Airlines flights?
On Corendon Airlines flights, unaccompanied children aged less than 5 years cannot be accepted for travel. Children between 5 and 12 years of age may be accepted for travel unaccompanied provided that the Unaccompanied Minor service has been requested.
On Corendon Dutch Airlines flights, unaccompanied children aged less than 6 years cannot be accepted for travel. Children between 6 and 12 years of age may be accepted for travel unaccompanied provided that the Unaccompanied Minor service has been requested.
What arrangements are required for the Unaccompanied Minor service?
The Unaccompanied Minor service must be requested in advance. Corendon (Dutch) Airlines is not liable if the request for the Unaccompanied Minor service is made upon check-in and this request cannot be honored.
The Unaccompanied Minor must be accompanied to the airport of departure by a parent (or an adult authorised by his/her parents or legal guardians) and met at the airport of arrival by the person designated by the parents or guardians. The Unaccompanied Minor remains in the parent’s care until the flight is called for embarkation when a Corendon Airlines staff member will accompany the child to the aircraft. The parent is requested to stay at the airport until the aircraft has taken off.
The fee that Corendon (Dutch) Airlines charges for the Unaccompanied Minor service is €25 one-way. For last minute information regarding children traveling alone, please contact Corendon (Dutch) Airlines directly.
