Try to avoid row 48. Seating space in this row is very limited and cramped. Reclining the seat is not possible due to the lavatory wall behind the seats.

Emirates new coach class seats are great for longe range flights. Generously sized seats have personal entertainment system in their back. There are serveral general screens as well. In flight service is average.

A happy recipient of an upgrade in Vienna! EK has increased the pitch on its 330s in the past few years. they still are lacking in width however. Where most carriers configure their J class in a 6 abreast patterns, EK squeezes a few more revenue miles out by seating pax 7 abreast. The entertainment system was not AVOD but they did have a choice of several good movies, including "The Queen".

It seems that in order to pay for its AVOD and good food, Emirates is under the impression that they need to squash as many pax as possible on to their planes. This is particularly true of all the 777s in economy class. Instead of the normal 9 abreast for most other airlines, Emirates has opted for a high density 10 abreast. True, they give you an extra inch or two of pitch, but if you are not intimately acquainted with your seat neighbour by the beginning of the flight, you certainly will be by the end. The exit door does give plenty of extra room to stretch out long legs, but you pay for this in terms of seat width. An already cramped seat becomes even more uncomfortable due to the tray table being stowed in the armrest. The ICE AVOD system is amazing, but not yet installed on all aircraft, so it is a bit hit and miss.

Emirates has configured a couple of 777-300 with First class suites, but there doesn't seem to be a way of knowing whether your plane has this unlikely configuration. I only was informed of this when I checked in at CDG. The suite itself is, of course, very luxurious, although the white leather looks like it might be better suited to the inside of an unsavoury 1977 GM car rather than a top airline. The bar inside does not contain any alcohol; one must ask for that, which rather seems to defeat the purpose of having a bar in one's suite. The bed somehow did not recline entlrley flat and I found it a bit awkward for stretching out.

This is business class. A proper bed-like seat. The picture that appears on the left belongs to this plane but the other 2 are from other EMIRATES airplanes. I dont know to which model they belong but I am sure you appreciate the info.
