Ethiopian Airlines, formerly known as Ethiopian Air Lines, is Ethiopia's flag carrier and wholly owned by the Government of Ethiopia. Headquartered on the grounds of Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa, the airline commenced operations back in early 1946 and, by 2019, it grew to a fleet of 104 aircraft that serve 130 international and domestic destinations.
