Face Covering Policy
Passengers and employees are not required to wear masks on board Frontier flights within the US. Per CDC guidance, individuals are encouraged to continue to wear masks in indoor settings.
For international travel, mask requirements depend on the departure/arrival country’s regulations. Individual airports and municipalities may still require masks, so please check the policy at your destination before departure.
Social Distancing Measures
Maintaining social distance is important nowadays. For the added safety of both passengers and employees, plexiglass partitions are installed at the ticket counters. Frontier is encouraging you to maintain social distancing with signage and floor markers placed throughout the check-in and boarding areas. At the gate, the boarding process of passengers from the back to the front of the aircraft helps to minimize contact with other passengers.
As a passenger, you can also limit your touchpoints by downloading your mobile boarding pass to avoid touching kiosks or having to go to a ticket counter and bringing your own snacks to avoid additional contact.
Enhanced Cleaning
Airport areas, such as ticket counters and boarding gate areas, are cleaned more often with EPA-approved anti-virus cleaning solutions. Also, aircraft are cleaned before every flight, with a focus on high traffic areas such as lavatories, galleys, etc. Every night, the interior of the aircraft is thoroughly cleaned for 4 to 6 hours using an industry-recommended disinfectant. Monthly, every airplane goes through enhanced deep cleaning (cabin fogging) with an anti-microbial agent that reaches virtually every surface and forms a protective shield that continues to be effective against viruses for 30 days.
The air onboard Frontier aircraft is completely refreshed by the airplane filtration system every three minutes. Clean air from outside the plane flows into the cabin via a sophisticated filtration system that uses a hospital-grade HEPA filter. HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Arrestors) aircraft filtration systems filter 99.99% of dust particles and germs like viruses and bacteria. That means that the filtered air mixed with the fresh air is cleaner than many of the public places you visit daily.
Change & Cancelation Policy
Because it wants you to book with confidence and reduce the cost of making changes to your booking, Frontier offers two extras you can add only during your initial booking:

- The WORKS bundle includes Flight Flexibility and 100% refundability. You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before your first departure. Your entire purchase, including the cost of the WORKS, is refundable.
You can also cancel your flight free of charge within 24 hours of the purchase, and a full refund will be given, except for tickets purchased for travel within 7 days (168 hours) of purchase.
Change/cancelation of your flight is free of charge when made more than 60 days before travel. When there are less than 60 days until your flight, the following change/cancelation fee applies:
