Is there a minimum age for acceptance of babies on Helvetic Airways flights?
To avoid any health risk, newborns may not travel on Helvetic Airways flights until they are eight days old.
Does Helvetic Airways offer a discount for babies?
Babies up to 2 years of age, registered as infants in the booking, travel on the lap of their parent/guardian or person accompanying them. On all Helvetic Airways short-haul flights, infants travel free of charge.
If you wish, you may reserve a seat for your baby, but there will be no discount in this case.
Traveling with Infants
For safety reasons, infants must be reported to Helvetic Airways in advance. The number of infants per flight is limited. The infant’s age at the time of the respective flight is relevant.
Infants are not entitled to their own seat, hand baggage or checked baggage allowance unless a separate, non-discounted booking has been made for them. One pushchair or child seat may be carried per infant (up to 2 years old) without payment of an additional fee.
