How can I check in for a Helvetic Airways flight?

Helvetic Airways offers several check-in options: Web Check-in before arriving at the airport, and, at the airport, Evening Check-in the day before departure or check-in the day of the flight.

What is the check-in deadline at the airport counter?

Helvetic Airways recommends passengers to arrive at the check-in counter at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. Every passenger must personally appear at the check-in counter and present a valid ID card or passport. For viva! Saver and viva! Business Class passengers, Helvetic Airways offers a priority check-in service.

At  Bern  Airport  (BRN),  check-in  counters  close  20 minutes  before  departure.  At  all other airports,  the  check-in  deadline  is 40 minutes before departure. Passengers who arrive late at the check-in counter lose their right to travel and are not entitled to any refunds.

For flights from Bern and Zurich only, Evening Check-in is available the day before the departure of the flight.

Web Check-in

The Web Check-in service of Helvetic Airways allows passengers to check in conventionally at home, select the seat they want and print out the boarding pass. The boarding pass contains all of the information required to use the baggage drop-off counter, as well as the departure gate and other important information.

Passengers with an electronic or paper ticket and a confirmed booking for a flight operated by Helvetic Airways may use the Web Check-in service from 23 hours up to 3 hours before departure from the following airports:

Passengers requiring assistance cannot check in online and are requested to check in at the check-in desk.
