What is LATAM Airlines Brasil policy on the carry-on allowance?
The carry-on allowance for each passenger, adult or child over 2 years of age, consists of one carry-on bag plus one personal item.
What is LATAM Airlines Brasil policy on checked baggage allowance?
The Piece Concept applies on all LATAM Brasil routes). If the trip includes a codeshare flight operated by another airline, passengers should review the inter-airline baggage policy because the Most Significant Carrier rule applies, except to/from the United States and Canada, where the baggage policy of the first carrier applies.
The dimensions and weight of each standard piece of baggage are:
Standard volume (width + height + length) | 158 linear cm / 62 linear inches |
Standard weight | 23 kg (50 lbs) |
If the baggage exceed the standard weight or number of pieces allowed for the trip, excess baggage charges will apply. Pieces larger than 300 cm (118 inches) or exceeding the maximum allowed weight of 45 kg (99 lbs) cannot be carried in the hold. On flights to or from Europe, Argentina and Oceania, the maximum weight allowed per piece is 32 kg (70 lbs).
