Do I need to reserve a seat for my baby when traveling with MIAT Mongolian Airlines?
Because flying is not recommended for babies less than 14 days old, MIAT Mongolian Airlines allows only babies aged between 14 days to 2 years to travel as infants. Infants do not have a separate seat on the plane, but bassinets are available on board for babies weighing up to 11 kg and measuring no more than 75 cm in length. The request for a baby bassinet can be made at the time of check-in at the airport. If you want to reserve a separate seat for your baby, please contact the airline.
Does MIAT Mongolian Airlines offer discounts for babies and children?
When traveling as infants, MIAT Mongolian Airlines offers an infant discount of 90% on the adult fare. Infants have a free baggage allowance of one bag with a maximum weight of 10 kg and total dimensions not exceeding 115 cm plus one collapsible stroller, portable cradle, or child car seat.
If you choose to reserve a seat for your baby, the child discount of 25% on the adult fare applies. Children have the same free baggage allowance as adults.
