On OpenSkies flights, the hand baggage allowance is one piece of hand baggage plus one handbag or laptop (including any duty-free and airport purchases). Weight and size restrictions apply:
- The maximum weight per bag is 23 kg (51 lbs).
- The maximum size is: 56 x 45 x 25 cm (22 x 18 x 10 in) – for the piece of hand baggage.
+ 40 x 30 x 15 cm (16 x 12 x 6 in) – for the handbag or laptop.
What is the checked baggage allowance on OpenSkies flights?
The checked baggage allowance on OpenSkies flights depends on the travel class:

Excess Baggage
You can take up to a total of ten checked bags per person (including any free allowance). Each extra bag is limited to the same size and weight as bags included in your checked baggage allowance.
Eco and Prem Plus passengers will be charged an overweight baggage charge for bags weighing over 23 kg (51 lbs). Oversized bags up to 190 x 75 x 65 cm (75 x 29.5 x 25.5 in) can be carried for an additional oversized baggage charge, but currently the charge is waived.
You can pay for extra bags online (only before check-in) at a discounted rate, or at the airport.

Bags that exceed the following restrictions will not be accepted and must be shipped separately as cargo:
- Maximum size: 190 x 75 x 65 cm (75 x 29.5 x 25.5 in).
- Maximum weight: 32 kg (70 lbs), except for musical instruments and film equipment weighing up to 45 kg (99 lbs) provided that advance arrangements have been made.
Sports Equipment
Many types of sports equipment (such as bikes, diving equipment, golf clubs, ski equipment, surfboards, etc.) can be carried as part of (but not in addition to) the free checked baggage allowance or, if required, as part of an additional purchased allowance. OpenSkies will only accept sporting equipment if it is properly packed (to avoid damage) and meets the maximum size and weight restrictions.
