Does Philippine Airlines offer a special service for children traveling alone?
Philippine Airlines offers a special service for children traveling alone, the Unaccompanied Minor service, but the acceptance of these young passengers on board PAL flights is governed by certain rules and regulations in order to ensure a safe and smooth trip.
For whom is the Unaccompanied Minor service available?
Children must be accompanied by another passenger who is at least 18 years old and are not allowed to travel alone up to 5 years old on domestic flights and 8 years old on international flights.

Unaccompanied Minor Service
Children aged 8 to under 12 years of age are allowed to travel alone provided they are brought to the departure airport and met at the arrival airport by an adult. Details about the person meeting the minor at destination must be arranged by the parent or guardian with PAL Reservations Office or ticket office at the time of booking.
The Unaccompanied Minor Handling Advice must be completed and signed by a parent. Also, for PAL international flights, Travel Clearance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is required for Philippine passport holders. Application forms can be downloaded from the DSWD website.
