On domestic flights, PNG Air only allows small birds, cats and dogs to be carried as excess checked baggage. Other animals, except Guide Dogs, must travel separately, shipped as cargo. For detailed information regarding pet travel, please contact PNG Air directly.
Are Guide Dogs allowed on PNG Air flights?
Sight or hearing impaired passengers may travel with a registered Guide Dog without any additional charge. However, you must notify PNG Air that you travel with a Guide Dog when you make your reservation. At check-in, you must present your dog’s certificate of registration as a Guide Dog and all of the required documents (valid health and vaccination certificates, entry permits, etc.). Carriage of Guide Dogs may be subject to other requirements implemented by PNG Air, so you should contact PNG Air directly.
