I booked this row of seats because we are traveling with a ever active 8 month old baby and is where the bassinets are on the A330. We found the seating to be very good ample leg room and was great as we where lucky enough to have a 3rd seat next to us free so when our baby wasn't sleeping we where able to keep her entertained in the 3rd seat 46/e The crew where helpful through out the flight

Really comfortable journey in this seat. Fantastic quite aircraft this A380 800 is. Only drawback is closeness to the galley area with the obvious noise problem from crew going about there business, serving up food etc, (slamming of storage cabinets and conversations) not to intrusive but it can wake you if your a light sleeper. And be aware you are very close to where the little ones are seated, so a baby crying for a bit is common but not a problem for the whole journey. Our flight Q10 LHR MEL stop off DXB for some reason was quite cold, to cold really but a blanket is provided. (conversely our return flight was the exact opposite , alas not quick enough to snap up this seat) Leg room is the whole point of this seat and boy that is what you get, snap this seat up quick, same for the seat 80K.

Seat15B
FromSydney-Kingsford Smith (SYD)
ToLondon-London Heathrow(LHR)
We had seats 15A&15B in business class. Not a good position as you are in full view of the galley and the noise and commotion coming from there is a lot more than bothersome. almost constant and seat 15B gets knocked frequently by crew when you are trying to sleep. We had 12A&B on the return journey and there is no comparison particularly with noise level and legroom is longer than row 15 - it was similar to being upstairs in the 747 more like a separate cabin as the first three rows are divided by the galley and toilets. Having said that the seats are excellent and the standard of service is very professional and friendly as you would expect from Qantas.

Seat69A
FromLos Angeles-Los Angeles International (LAX)
ToBrisbane-Brisbane International (BNE)
Seat 69A & B, terrible seats. Passenger in aisle seat in front decided to recline fully & then some into my lap pushing his seat into my legs all the way from LAX-BNE leg at midnight. I am only short but had my knees jammed by this ignoramous. Made him aware of it, but he did not care guess they breed em different in the US. Flight attendant told him to move seat so I could eat my breakfast as I had no room to eat.
Qantas needs to fix this seat issue by changing Incline angle on their seat or giving more room between seats, not asking for a lot is it considering we now pay extra for seats. Horrible flight when a little bit of consideration and empathy might have gone a long way. Don't sit in these seats if you can avoid they are awful especially if you have the passenger from hell in the seat in front.

Seat43A
FromBrisbane-Brisbane International (BNE)
ToLos Angeles-Los Angeles International (LAX)
Seat was ok limited arm room due to TV monitor. Bags stow overhead lockers during takeoff and landing if you want anything you have to retrieve and stow again later. Passenger in middle rows annoying over zealous grandma spent whole trip in three of the overhead lockers she had commandeered and standing in aisle a lot of the trip which left no room for anyone else to exit seat. Very disruptive and I was sitting in window seat glad I wasn't in aisle seat next to her. Maybe baby section should be at back of plane all together or something. Apart from that good trip reasonable seat. Think long haul trips could be made more comfortable as far as leg room, seat size, recline etc goes.

Seat23B
FromSingapore
ToMelbourne-Tullamarine (MEL)
Slightly smaller than normal seat as the tray table and IFE unit are both housed in the armrests. Leg room is minimal, due to the bulkhead wall. You can not extend your legs forward. Seat is opposite bassinet seats, and the galley. Overall its poor location to sit.

I was extremely dissapointed inthe very poor entertainment on the flight.Screens where the smallest I have seen foe a long time and choice was very poor for all entertainment. In the end I spent the majority of the 9 hour flight listening to music.
Very dissapointed
