What is Royal Jordanian’s policy on carry-on baggage?
In today’s world, being able to take your business and personal life accessories is very important. That is why Royal Jordanian’s carry-on allowance enables you to take with you on board what you need.
What is Royal Jordanian’s policy on checked baggage?
Royal Jordanian’s checked baggage policy is based on the Piece Concept for travel to all destinations. The free baggage allowance is determined by your destination and travel class.
The maximum weight of any piece of checked baggage is 32 kg (70 lbs). Royal Jordanian no longer accepts any piece of baggage over this limit, with the exception of special baggage (sporting equipment, wheelchairs, pets, musical instruments, etc.) notified to Royal Jordanian at the time of booking. Also with the exception of special baggage, bags with the sum of their 3 dimensions exceeding 203 cm (80 inches) will not be accepted.
Carry-on Baggage
In Crown Class, passengers are allowed to take two pieces of carry-on baggage, except on Embraer aircraft where only one piece is allowed.
In Economy Class, passengers are allowed to take one piece of carry-on baggage.
For both classes, each piece of carry-on baggage must meet the following conditions:
- Maximum weight – 7 kg.
- Maximum dimensions – 23 x 41 x 51 cm (9 x 16 x 20 in), with the sum of the three dimensions not exceeding 115 cm (45 inches). The dimensions include handles, wheels, side pockets, etc.
