What is SilkAir’s policy on checked baggage?
According to the SilkAir’s checked baggage policy, each passenger is allowed a checked baggage allowance, which will be set by the Weight Concept.
Due to local occupational rules, there is a weight limit of 32 kg per piece that cannot be exceeded, so heavy items should be repacked to be allowed for transportation. If you’re checking in a bulky item at Singapore Changi Airport, it should not exceed 200 cm length, 80cm height, and 75cm width.
Each piece of sporting equipment will be treated as a piece of baggage. All sporting equipment will be counted towards the passenger’s’ free baggage allowance. If the normal baggage plus the sporting equipment exceeds the free baggage allowance, excess baggage fees will be charged accordingly.
