Children less than 2 years of age cannot travel alone on TAAG Angola Airlines flights and must always be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 2 to 12 years are allowed to travel alone. TAAG Angola Airlines offers special services, with separate conditions and requirements, for children who are traveling alone.
What special services does TAAG Angola Airlines offer for children traveling alone?
For children aged 2 to 4 years (inclusive), TAAG may provide a special assistant in case they need to travel alone.
Children aged 5 to 11 years (inclusive) are allowed to travel alone, at the request of their parents, only as Unaccompanied Minors. For Unaccompanied Minors, TAAG Angola Airlines provides separate check-in facilities, as well as dedicated ground staff to help on departure and arrival. The child must be accompanied to the airport, at check-in and through airport formalities by a parent, legal guardian or someone authorized by one of these, who has to stay in the airport up to the departure of the flight.
Children between the ages of 12 and 15 years are allowed to travel alone as Young Passengers, to whom TAAG Angola Airlines provides special attention. They may accompany a child over 5 years of age, as long as the capacity to accompany the minor for the whole trip is declared.
