Thomas Cook Airlines minors flying alone

Are children traveling alone accepted on Thomas Cook flights?

When traveling on a flight-only booked through Thomas Cook Airlines UK, passengers 14 years of age or over can travel alone as Young Persons.

Young Persons

Young Persons must be able to travel unaccompanied. Before making the flight booking, a Young Persons Declaration must be completed.

Bookings for children (passengers under 18 years of age) traveling alone will not be accepted online. Bookings must be made by a Thomas Cook agent, either in a store or over the phone. Parents/legal guardians must provide written authorisation and, in the presence of a travel agent, sign the booking form. Passports may be required so that the agent can verify names/signatures.

In order to allow the crew to observe the Young Person during the flight, the child will be pre-seated near the front or rear of the aircraft.
