Leg room is limited, and the foot well room width is pretty limited between the mounting rains. I ended up moving to get middle two seats of the same row, so I had room to stretch out a bit more. Otherwise it would have been a miserable flight. They just have too many seats crammed in too close together.

I could never get the inflight wifi working either with my miles and smiles membership.

Turkish does not use the pods in their business class layout but a lay flat seat with an ottoman on the back of the passenger’s seat located ahead of your row.
Pros: When seats are in the upright position you can walk from starboard to port aisles without having to walk through the galleys or head areas. It must make the cabin cleaning operation much easier. It’s also easier to stand up and walk out of your seat area if needed.
Cons: Total lack of “privacy”. When seat is in upright position some passengers use your seating area to transit between aisle. No space for storage your personal belongings close to you. The armrest, shared with your neighbor is very narrow and has space for a couple of glasses only.
The only storage available is inside the ottoman which means the only access is by putting your seat in the seating position, standing up and lean forward to lift the lid of the ottoman.
The video screen is attached to the back of the passenger’s seat in front of you and it’s quite a distance from you especially when in reclining position.
As I say previously there is no space to put your headphones or other items close to your seat so it’s either on your lap or on the floor.
The power and headphones outlets are located behind the armrest, difficult to reach and select. The video remote fits into its storage close to your headrest. Once you use it you need to store it back having no place to keep it handy.
Turkish staff “makes” your bed with a seat cover an supplies pillows and bed covers as well as a gift bag with some toiletries. All needs to go inside rage ottoman other your seating area becomes very cluttered and you spend your time retrieving your items which have slipped between the armrest and the seat or on the aisle floor.
In conclusion ones needs to do frequent space decluttering.
The table comes out of the armrest so once in position there is no way out of your seat unless your store it back.
There is one small reading light close to your headrest if needed.
Turkish is above the rest of the occidental airlines in terms of service and food. Food service is done by a chef assisted by flight attendants and choices of appetizers and desserts are displayed on a trolley as it used to be the norm in the 20th century.
I hope Turkish will retrofit their business class with more convenient pod layouts.

Economy seat 7B is not a bad choice as it is close to bathrooms and easy inand out of the aircraft. You are also served right away when the service starts.

This is an older style business class with no direct aisle access for window seats. However, the leg room is great. The seat was roomy. A bit difficult to locate outlet to plug phone charger in. Seat itself was a bit too firm for me and I was only able to manage 3 hours of sleep.
Food was good, though the fish main course was overcooked/too dry. Appetizers and desserts were very tasty. All food portions were substantial enough. There was a lack of flight attendants asking if I needed anything, like water. One FA I did request water from forgot so I had to ask another FA.
The controller for the entertainment was kinda wonky. Needed to press button very firmly twice for the system to respond.

Ich hatte einen wunderschönen Flug von Berlin nach Istanbul, viel Beinfreiheit, sowie der Service waren hervorragend, habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt und werde jederzeit wieder mit türkisch airline fliegen, sowie auch meinen Freunden und Verwandten weiterempfehlen

Ich bin mit einem Airbus 330-300 von Berlin nach Istanbul geflogen und war sehr zufrieden mit der Beinfreiheit, es gab sogar gemütliche Kissen, der Service war für so eine relativ kurze Strecke sehr gut, Essen super lecker, Getränke eine große Auswahl, da könnten sich andere Airlines eine Scheibe abschneiden

Good flight, seating is comfortable enough for a 4 hours journey.

the legroom seat was the main purpose why I chose this seat and the space for the leg is excelent. Also the proximity to the toilet.
