Upper deck economy seat. Very comfortable for a long overseas flight, with one caveat - seat cushion was thin to the point sitting became uncomfortable around hour 4. I was still able to get a good amount of sleep thanks to a generous recline, legroom, and footrest (I am 5'1"). The storage bin below the window was SUPER convenient and served both as a generous storage area and as a shelf for phone, food wrappers, drink cups, etc. The seat configuration is 2 - 4 - 2 which was nice because no middle seat and was able to sit with partner with some sense of privacy.

Food was decent with Western or Korean option for each of 2 meals served. The first was served soon after takeoff, I had bibimbap with beef. A snack was (hot ham and cheese sandwich) served about halfway through. The second meal was served a couple of hours before landing, Meals included entree, roll with butter, soup, side/salad, and fruit. Coffee and tea service followed. Second meal was shrimp pasta. Usually they offer a Korean and Western meal option, I always take the Korean option if offered.

Entertainment selection of movies was decent especially if you like Korean/Asian cinema. TV series and music were lacking. Service was efficient and polite. I enjoyed watching the tactic to address a sleeping passenger - lean in close and a cheery "excuse me!"

I had the same seat on the return flight from ICN to LAX and the seat cushion was much cushier. All in all for having to fly 13 hrs in coach the seat was very comfortable.

This window seat was very close to the galley. After dinner (food was excellent) I settled down for an overnight flight. I was awoken at 11.30 and 1am by noise coming from the galley. Staff were delivering duty free and banging every door used. At 3.30am I gave up trying to sleep. When I mentioned the noise I was told both the food heating and cooling systems were very noisy! Correct. NEVER boom this seat for an overnight flight if you want to sleep. My return flight is a day flight so I don’t mind. Flat bed was very comfy, noise was only complaint. In flight entertainment needs updating, take your iPad loaded with stuff to watch.

Noticeably more legroom than other trans-Pacific carriers. Even with a bag under the seat ahead, legs can still stretch out completely. While eating, I did not hit the seat ahead of me even once with my knees or anything else. The seat pocket holds quite a bit of extras but never impedes one's progress to the restroom. After 12 hours of flying, no cramping or limping to the arrivals hall. A pleasant flight indeed.

On time departure. Comfortable seat with all of the electronics working. Excellent, friendly Flight crew! A true pleasure to fly this airline/airplane when on a 10+ flight. Food choices were good, with excellent preparation and service. I highly recommend this airline and configuration of this A380.

The business class seat was good but could have been a bit wider.
