Upper deck economy seat. Very comfortable for a long overseas flight, with one caveat - seat cushion was thin to the point sitting became uncomfortable around hour 4. I was still able to get a good amount of sleep thanks to a generous recline, legroom, and footrest (I am 5'1"). The storage bin below the window was SUPER convenient and served both as a generous storage area and as a shelf for phone, food wrappers, drink cups, etc. The seat configuration is 2 - 4 - 2 which was nice because no middle seat and was able to sit with partner with some sense of privacy.
Food was decent with Western or Korean option for each of 2 meals served. The first was served soon after takeoff, I had bibimbap with beef. A snack was (hot ham and cheese sandwich) served about halfway through. The second meal was served a couple of hours before landing, Meals included entree, roll with butter, soup, side/salad, and fruit. Coffee and tea service followed. Second meal was shrimp pasta. Usually they offer a Korean and Western meal option, I always take the Korean option if offered. Entertainment selection of movies was decent especially if you like Korean/Asian cinema. TV series and music were lacking. Service was efficient and polite. I enjoyed watching the tactic to address a sleeping passenger - lean in close and a cheery "excuse me!" I had the same seat on the return flight from ICN to LAX and the seat cushion was much cushier. All in all for having to fly 13 hrs in coach the seat was very comfortable. | |||||||||||||||||||||
