General presentation
The Airbus A330-300 is divided into two classes and is used on regional and medium-haul flights from Hong Kong to destinations such as Denpasar (Bali), Cairns and Surabaya. There are twenty-five of these planes in the fleet but there are twenty with this seating configuration. On the flight you will be attended by a cabin crew of 11.
Cathay Pacific Airlines are busy improving their on board facilities. One of the final aims is to provide all passengers with power ports and individual televisions. There are planes which currently have these facilities in all classes.
In Economy class the screens are inbuilt in the headrest in the seat in front and the power ports are in the base. Adjustable headrests also make the flight more comfortable.
First class passengers can enjoy the luxury of lie-flat seats with 10.4” individual screens and noise-reducing headsets. Business class passengers also have individual screens and on long-haul flights they have the extra comfort of longer pitch (60”) and adjustable lumbar support as well as individual reading lights.

CX is giving SQ a good run for their money in my books. TPE is almost a second hub for CX and offer a comfortable lounge at Chiang Kai-Shek airport. Service on board CX is always attentive and I had a wonderful chat with the f/a about a new Chinese wine that was being piloted on CX (although we both agreed that Chinese viniculture needed another 20 years to catch up to world standards.) I do wish the medium haul seats in J were a bit more spaciously appointed, but for short hops of less than three hours they are quite adequate. | |||||||

2 seats next to each other is very comfortable in stead of 3; not having to bother the 3rd person closest to the gangway. Full decline of seat of the person in front of you can be very ennoying (also depending on what kind of person is sitting there too of course, taking his/having consideration for fellow passengers into account or not). Seat belts are quite tight in my case. Film suggestions could be more varied. | |||||||

The flight was good and not tiring compared to other airlines.Seats are comfortable and not so densely arranged. I have requested in advance for a low cholesterol food but all I got was a blunt turkey breast and few/little veggies. The same food was given me, turkey brest on HK-Cebu route. Can they have not prepared something different on another route as they know fully my itinerary? | |||||||

Not my kind of seat at all. You get bothered by people next to you who want to get out. Also, the food cart will kick you on your shoulder/knee/head if you are not careful. They are passing by all the time. | |||||||

Nice plane, plenty of leg room space. Even though these plane seems to have already its share of years, the infomedia system was quite OK. Nice food too even though I am not very fond of chinese food!! | |||||||

Wonderful 💺 seat. I have enough place to relax my legs during the long flight. I am very happy to fly with Cathay Pacific comfortable seat, very good wheelchair service and delicious foods .

There was ample legroom in this seat.Width narrow.Seat recline was ok.Entertainment well i did not even switch on.Food ok.Drink juices nothing to talk about no beers wine or anything.Service good. | |||||||
