General presentation

There are three Airbus 320 in Croatia Airline´s fleet which can hold 164 passengers. These planes are used for short and medium haul flights. The division between classes is flexible with a sliding curtain.
In 1997 they took over the first aircraft of the Airbus A320 type called Rijeka, and opened a joint representation of Croatia Airlines and the Croatian Tourist Association in Amsterdam.
Number of passengers carried that year: 866,000.
Croatia Airlines has introduced a new benefit: as of 21st June 2005 our youngest passengers, infants, travel free of charge and are entitled to 10 kg of baggage. The only condition is that infants sit on the accompanying person’s lap. This benefit applies to all domestic and international flights and is not time-limited. Airport taxes and other applicable taxes are charged.
Croatia Airlines provides special meals according to religious beliefs if reserved 24 hours in advance.
Exit behind window seats may be the only one with recline limitation – check with Croatia Airlines to be sure. (Our experience tells us that Airbus follows this rule whereas Boeing doesn’t)

First I will say the Croatia in-flight staff was very welcoming and made every effort to provide a good customer experience.

The Airbus 320 was old. The lavatories both forward and aft had sinks\surfaces that were stained almost black from age and use.

Row 1C had no bulkhead infront with unlimited legroom. All other business class seats in row 1 had extremely limited leg room due to the bulkhead. Even though the center seats are blocked for business class guests, it is economy seating with painfully minimum pitch. Row one has tray tables in arm rests so they cannot be raised. You cannot unbend your knees except in 1C which is the best seat in business class

Based on the seatmap I choose row 12, but the best seats are in row 10 since only in those row there are exits... Flight was fine, plenty of space left, nice staff, nice Croatian snack
