This is part of the Delta Economy Comfort - i.e. you pay more to get a seat with SLIGHTLY more leg room. In my case, $29 - a waste. You also get early boarding, but that's a joke because half the passengers have earned this via a variety of methods. Overhead luggage compartments are supposed to be for the folks paying extra for these seats, but there is NO control of this by staff. Width of this seat (and likely every other) is a JOKE. I was seated next to an equally normal size man, both of us at least 6 feet tall, and we could not sit side by side without shoulders rubbing. Pathetic. If hotels operated so poorly, they would never get away with it.

I travel about 50 flights a year, and this had to be one of the most uncomfortable I have ever been on. This was a brand new Airbus 320. It is the first plane I have been on, including commuter aircraft, where my rolling briefcase could not fit under the seat in front of me. In addition, I'm only 5'2", and my knees hit the seat when the person in front of me reclined. You also needed serious yoga skills to get out of the row both inflight and when deplaning, and unless you are super flexible, getting to anything under the seat in front of you was a major challenge. Crazy bad seating. Love Delta. Hated this plane.

I have to say, I flew on the 320 again and was not nearly as impressed as I was the first time. The aircraft seemed much older and much more run down than the previous aircraft I flew on; the seats being much more reminiscent of those on a 319 or DC9-50 than those of the other 320 config. Even though there are still 16 seats in F class, they are not nearly as nice as those of the other 320 variant.

This airplane is very nice, and with the new delta interiors it make for a very pleasant 45 minute flight. Also, the fact the tray tables are in the armrests in first class seems to create quite a bit more room.

Extra leg room - super extra. Limited recline. There in no right hand rest.
There was a screen to watch tv with usb port. There is also an outlet between front seats on the bottom . Regular width of the seat. Choice of kind bar, cinnamon cookie or snack mix was offered. Juice, soda, water and coffee as well as tea was available. Food for purchase was offered.

Was in F. The F product on the plane is rubbish. In F you don't expect the seatback of the seat in front of you to be in your knees when the person in front of you reclines. Avoid the A320 F cabin if you are tall. Worst of the DL jets.

(6-13-11) This was a wonderful flight from RSW to DTW. I wa lucky enough to get upgraded, and experenced the perks of first class. Sadly, this plane does not have any TVs, but do feature Wi-Fi. There was no meal served, but all you can eat refreshments on this flight. A320 (N370NW)Built: 1999.

Flew a Delta A320 airbus. Feels slightly less roomy than a 737-400. Seat cushion was fair in comfort. Ample leg room but not much on shoulder room with the guy next to me. I'm 5'9" and constantly moved in my seat to get comfortable. That's economy class for you.
