There are 11 Boeing 777 200s in the Korean Air fleet, with two different configurations. The Boeing 777 200 has a flight range of 12538km and cruises at a speed of 905km/h. This version has a total seating capacity of 261 passengers.
Korean Air first class seats range from a 28.5” wide 150º recline to a fully lie flat “bed” seat. Prestige class seats have a recline range from 139º to 170º with a width of 26”.
There is internet service on flights from Incheon to Narita, L.A, N.Y, Chicago, Seattle, Cairo, Dubai, Washington D.C., Beijing and Sydney, and flights from Narita to L.A, and all seats are equipped with power outlets. This service is to be expanded to all other routes. On the second Sunday of every month there may be problems with the system due to maintenance and there is no service while flying through the region of Kamchatka in East Russia – reduced rates will be applied.
A selection of 16 channels on every seat offer you a wide selection of music from traditional Korean music to the latest Korean tracks. You can also get a taste of music from around the world as you flip through channels offering pop, classic and jazz from the US, Japan and China. On flights offering AVOD (audio/video on demand), you can choose and listen to more music from the 20 CD albums.
Korean Air also offers a selection of short programs along with a wide selection of movies, music and games. Short programs consist of documentaries, sports, music videos, news (CNN, KBS, MBC, SBS), SkyTeam information and an arrival video which shares traffic, shopping and tourism info about the destination. On flights offering AVOD, you can choose from 30 short programs.
