Qantas Airways Airbus A380 800 seat review by Tara Russell #37201

I wanted to love it as it was my 1st big trip in Business class. I felt like such a newbie as I didn't know where the personal light was, where to store things etc. Yes , I asked.
Speaking of storage...being on the aisle (next to a window seat), I just had no close-by storage. I had to get up to get things out of the overhead lockers or the pocket in the seat in front.
The seat was very comfortable. I didn't go full flat as I did not want to block in the window seat person. The chair pad, quilt and pillow were lovely.
I didn't use any entertainment as I just read my kindle or tried to sleep. It was bumpy a lot of the time so wasn't that pleasant.
Food was tasty, light and fresh. Service was also good.

13B was right in front of the toilet and galley so I thought it might be really noisy. It wasn't too bad. People didn't congregate and chat, the staff were very quiet. The guy snoring opposite me on the aisle made more noise!
Overall, comfortable seat, just not much storage within the pod.
