Flew the A350 for the first time in January 2017, from DOH-ADELAIDE, so nice to relax in business on a 12 hour flight. Service in business always exceptional and my seat 9A is the last in business before economy class curtain divider and on the left hand side window. So absolutely no problems with the business pod itself, the IFE or the to seat service for drinks and food etc. So lets talk any negatives...you board first through front door but then economy boards through door two rows in front of 9A, so you have 10-15 minutes of people going by, but not too bad. Only downside for me with 9A was the curtain behind separating economy being opened and closed all flight, if you are not asleep or deep in a movie, you will notice it, and aside from the few economy girls who kept sneaking in to pinch fruit and chocolates from the centre bar lol, it was ok! A350 business toilets too are for me much better than on the A380, which are smaller and feel cramped. Only other negatives, being kept in perpetual darkness after departing DOHA to adjust to the sun in the east which comes on quite quickly...I don't like cabin darkness when it is light outside, thats what eye shades are for for those who want dark. Again though, Qatar is my airline of choice and love the service, very very hard to top.

We bagged these two seats on Avios, so serious good value. The other middle pair in row 2 were occupied by a couple with all 4 window seats unoccupied. This turned out to be a wonderful advantage as the crew turned the empty 4 seats into our beds for the night! Many reviewers crack on about how the QSuite is as good as first class - absolute rubbish. The extra space, vastly superior service (1 crew member to 2 passengers on our flight), better food, massively better wines, HUGE WC's - you can have a party in them! We wandered down to the bar later in the flight when it was empty. Champagne from first class was brought down for us - nice touch. Overall, a great seat and perfect service. A shame that these seat are being phased out.

This was the first time that I flew in the A350-900. The cabin was clean and gave the impression of spaciousness. The flight was smooth and with relatively low noise. The pressurization system worked very well with little problems with ear pressure. Cabin crew were attentive and the food was well presented. I did not like the salt and pepper grinders which I found too small for me to effectively grip and twist. Of more concern was the positioning of the food tray which extended to a point about 40cm away from me. This meant having to lean forward in the seat in order to eat. Eventually I tired of this and placed a folded blanket behind my back. But, overall an enjoyable flight.

I travelled business class for the first time and was more than happy with the experience. Plenty of room in the pod, with lots of variations for seat adjustments. The seat went down to a bed which was completely flat. Food was ‘al a carte’ with several choices and you could choose when to eat. Excellent choice of beverages and alcohol including several wines. Very attentive cabin crew. The only minor down side to this pod was when anyone was waiting for the toilet they could look into the pod which could impact on your privacy. But overall this was a small issue in a very positive experience.

Seated in business class in a QSuite seat. Seat 5a is a rear facing window seat.

Very comfortable seat as usual with Qatar Airways. It was a little disconcerting at first to be seated facing backwards but you soon adjust to this. You just need to be aware you need to make sure everything is packed away for landing or to all slides forwards to you on landing. Seems to have a little less at seat storage than on the Qatar Boeing Dreamliner seat layout, but maybe I am wrong.

Checkin-good, aircraft newish, service just OK however encountered technical issues with screen which the staff were unable to rectify. Essentially it did not function - many, many resets but a 12+ hour flight with no entertainment. Paid top $ for Business Class and expected some feedback to my complaint / credit - nothing. Take the cash and don't give a followup etc. Not the flight staff who did what they could - just the airline who I am not happy with.

The economy seating definitely needs some serious reconfiguration. The leg room is pathetic and the seat doesn’t recline more than 10 degrees. I’m under 6 feet and All the flight my knees were stuck into the front seat. My next connection was a 787 out of Doha. I can’t tell how relieved I was with the leg space I got there. I dread this experience of doing a long haul and might never fly A350 if it’s more than 6 hours.

A beautiful aircraft boasting excellent business class seating and facilities. The inflight customer service is uniquely good, as is to be expected on a Qatar aircraft. We found that our personal attendant , Lyn, was outstanding. I have been flying with Qatar for the past 7years and this flight on the A350-900 confirms my loyalty to the airline

Very comfortable journey. The seats, which converted easily into a flat bed, were so roomy and you could close the partitions to give complete privacy. The service, as with all Qatar flights, was excellent as was the menu and quality of food. It was more like spending a night in a comfortable hotel than flying.

A350-1000. 47k is last row window. 95% full flight. Seat was fine, had full recline, very comfortable despite being stuck in a corner. Food very good for airline food. Service fantastic. Those flight attendants were working very hard for the whole 14.5 hour long haul. What could have been a miserable experience turned into a very pleasant one.
