General presentation
There are currently 7 A330 300s in the Qantas fleet, which comprises of a total of 201 planes (figures for Sept 2005). The Airbus 330-300 aircraft offers a two-class, Business and Economy, service. It operates on domestic(c1) and international(c2) routes and has recently been introduced on Australia to Shanghai flights. Its range with a full payload is 7000km and it cruises at a speed of 880kph.
Business class passengers will enjoy the comfort of skybed seats. Economy class passengers also have lumbar support and manually adjustable wings in the headrests.
Audio and Video on Demand is now showing on all flights to Mumbai from Sydney, to Hong Kong from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, to Shanghai and Beijing from Sydney and Melbourne, and to Singapore from Adelaide, Darwin and Brisbane.
